Do you believe in ghosts?

This morning we had to sit around and wait for the fog to clear to do some photos, and while we were waiting somehow the topic of do you believe in ghosts came up. Two people did, two people didn't, and I didn't really have an opinion one way or the other. Of the five of us I was really the only one who could tell a ghost story in the first person and I still didn't know if I believed. It never really mattered to me. When I was younger I used to have all kinds of wierd things happen, but they happened and that was that. I knew when 3 of my 5 grandmothers died, one I had a dream the night before, two of them I got up in the middle of the night because I thought they were in the house (and both times my mother did the same thing), one I don't remeber much, and the last one is still alive (and planning to outlive me).

Once while setting up a shot in a locked retaurant in a hotel in Florida and out of focus little boy in a striped shirt sitting at a table and staring into the camera showed up on one of the polaroids. There were only four of us there and when the polaroid was run we were all standing behind the camera and looking into the set. None of us saw anyone else in the room. After we shot the ad and were having lunch with the models one of the women told us how her husband was the general manager and when the first came to Florida ther 8 year old son drowned in the swimming pool on property. Later comparing the polaroid with the boy to the none with the models, the boy was sitting in the same chair this woman sat in.

Another time, I went to pick up a new friend at his mother's house. I spent some time talking to his mother and before we left I went down the hall to use the bathroom. Passing an open bedroom door I saw a young woman sitting on the foot of the bed in a robe with a towel wrapped around her head like she had just gotten out of the shower. After we drove away I asked him who the girl in the bedroom was. He told me there was no one there but him and his mother. I described her and what she was wearing and he flipped out. He had an older sister who died of cancer in that room when she was 15. He said when poeple came over she would wrap a towel around her head because the chemo made her hair fall out. I had never even knew he had a sister that died, and he said he never spoke about it.

I've had quite a few experinces like this, not so much recently, but still quite a few. I never thought about what this was all about, like I said, it would happen and that was that. But today while the crew was debating the exsistence of ghosts one thing kept nagging me. It seems everytime I would see something, or, evey story I hear of someone seeing a ghost the clothes the ghost is wearing seems to really stand out. It's like life's a bitch, and then you die, and you better be dressed for it. So now instead of wondering if there's life after death, I'm going to have to wonder, if there is, what am I gonna wear.

And, the girls are nice.... The teacher just kind of interrupted his question and told him it was inappropriate... but you know. they are.

oh, your journal is scarey. the restaurant that i work in is haunted. one night i was up in the office and all the chairs started throwing themselves off the tables. i live 30 seconds from the place, so i couldn't lose the chilled feeling, even when i got home.
