This weekend was eventful. Not nessesarily good though. I inadvertently killed a bird and I smashed out my headlight.
It started on saturday morning. I heard some strange noises coming from the woodstove. The kitty heard the noises too. So we go to check it out. I open the door and WHOA! this bird flies out right at my head! It swoops around at me again and then heads towards the living room. I think to myself, "I have to open a window or door so this bird can fly out." As the word "fly" enters my thoughts the kitty has pounced on and pinned the bird to the ground. It fluttered around some but it was finished. I felt so bad.
The kitty however was pleased as punch.
Later that day I am out driving and smash my headlight.
Luckily just the glass and plastic was busted. The headlight bulb and blinker bulbs still work though so its not that bad. I'll have to go to a junkyard and find a replacement for the glass but that's not too bad. The other guy had only a few scratches on his bumper. We ended up just shaking hands and going our seperate ways. I don't need my insurance rates going up for something that isn't going scratch my deductible.
