So today I shaved off my beard....it's part of my annual preparation for the start of the new term - now is the time I start trying to regain my routine - no booze during the week, try going to bed early and get up at a decent time (that's killing me already)!!
Had a great night out on Sat - went to support Jenova's band, Triaxis, at their album launch.
I nearly didnt go as I'd been working that day and was feeling a bit tired, but I didnt want to let anyone down, so at the last minute decided to go, leaving my phone at home! D'oh! It was definitely one of those weird nights where I met loads of random cool people, had lots of fun chats, had some male bonding and too much JD!
It was great to see lembow again and have a few beers. Ended up bumping into some old uni friends out on a hen night and became an honorary hen for a few hours - good times! Saw Aymie and was gonna say hi, but as I hadn't properly met her before didn't want to freak her out! haha
I also met Lalacaine who was a really nice girl, enjoyed chatting to her - if you see this and remember our conversation - send me a PM
My comic is coming along nicely, currently working hard on Chapter Three, Tom (my co-creator) is coming to visit this weekend, so it'll be nice to catch up over a few beers and chat about how things are coming along and take on-board any suggestions he might have!
As soon as some of the pencils are in a ready enough state, I'll scan a few in and post them here.
