Monday......most people dread Mondays.....the start of a new week, the commencement of another monotonous cycle of work.......

But today, I woke up at 6, saw how beautiful the day was, and decided today I was going to be in relaxed teacher mode........

And that lasted all of 5 minutes, as heat + 30 pupils x small room = lots of silly behaviour!! Ah, well......

My weekend was great fun. P & S, my old flatmate and his wife, who also happen to be 2 of my oldest and dearest friends from Bristol came to Cardiff for the night. i was charged with providing them with a worthy nights entertainment! Gulp!!

I recruited a few of my 'Diff buddies to help me entertain....and boy did we!! Knowing full well I had work the next day I'd forewarned that I might have to leave at midnight, to ensure I would be ok for work on Saturday morning...it didnt happen! 4am I got home after taking them to Clwb Ifor Bach! It was a great night of drinking and laughter and much much bad dancing! Wicked!

I made it to work ok the next day and was able to shrug off the hangover (which was no way near as bad as it could or should have been).

Sunday was rather more relaxed, and generally involved filling cracks in walls, tearing up old carpet and the odd coat of paint! I'm hoping the house will be finished by end of June and am hoping to get some more tenants in, as I dont know if I can afford everything on my own! - especially as we're hitting the quiet period of term and the need for extra teachers will be in short supply!

I made a run of the agencies this afternoon and expressed my interest at a few temp positions to cover me for the summer! *fingers crossed*
