somebody is listening to alice in chains, layne staley's melodious voice wafting through the vents.

got drunk and played pool last night. played some gears of war, too. found a new favorite movie, true romance. i can't believe it's taken me so long to watch it. i spent most of today doing christopher...walken impersonations.

still making plans for leave. after a $500 plane ticket and $250 payment on my laptop, i'm not really looking forward to spending too much money. granted, i get paid once more before leave and once during leave, so it's not like i can't make the money up. plus, there are a few people i'll be treating to dinner or something, so i can't be too staunch.

did 100 widegrip pushups and 100 regulars along with some crunches tonight, feel like my body's about to collapse. got to get in shape for leave, want to look good for certain people.

been getting messages from an ex-girlfriend, who i promised to take to dinner during leave. they're all music videos, great songs, some old songs we'd listen to together, some new that we'd probably listen to together if we were still together. i guess that's the point. always been something lingering there. last time i saw her i ruined it by sleeping with her. we had a great night together and then i had to go and do something foolish like that. it's weird how sex always complicates things. apparently i'm pretty good at getting myself in trouble.




oh well, back to yet another busy week at work. 3 more weeks. 3 more weeks.
