went out to the movies with citlali again today. we showed up late for the movie she wanted to see, so we decided to go see "the black daliah" instead. we had enough time (30 minutes) before the movie started to go pick up something to eat. we went to this trendy bar/grill/whatever down the street, got a table, and waited 10 minutes for a waitress to show up. then it took us 15 minutes to get our food. we barely had enough time to eat it, so we asked for our bill and a box. that took 5 minutes. frustrated by the terrible service, i was inspired to leave a tip for our waitress - and it wasn't a tip in the traditional sense. instead of leaving her money, i left her a haiku:
the service was slow -
the early bird gets the worm
but you get no tip.
love, your patrons
then we ran out of the restaurant before we could even see her reaction.
the food was okay. the movie sucked. the company was amazing.
