somebody, and i forget who, made some wise crack about irish and their fondness for liquor this weekend. let's just say he wasn't fucking kidding.

i spent most of the weekend with a bottle of whiskey. haven't shaved, gone outside, or bathed. just sat around, watched shit, played with the dog, and drank like one. not such a good weekend, but what else am i going to do?

thursday was my first day of class. late to every one. sat on the floor in some. nothing new. got some girls' numbers, too, which i have memorized but not dialed. girls and the phone numbers they give you are like spirits, you've got to let them age before you can enjoy them.

what the hell else am i going to say?

i need to go take a trip back north and see my gang, see how they're doing.

and i miss me little one, too.


ugh, maybe i should have gone back. i could be passed out on the beach right now with me little one and me scalawags. i would have fucked up with school again, but i'm going to be leaving very soon, so what does it matter? well, i see plenty of roadtrips in my future.
