I hope that everyone had a good Christmas. Today I saw my sister Jen. The last time I saw her was in 2005 when she was the only one in my family I told I was getting married. She came to Vegas sent us (me and the now ex-wife) wounderful flowers, and made the day special for me. I almost didn't make it to Iowa to visit my family because of how dirt poor I am right now. I've spent every penny I have to make it here (Iowa).
Today the first present I opened was really a card. In side was $200 cash. Sad as it may seem, but that was the best present I got. I can relax a little now knowing I'm not returning to Phoenix with $0 in the bank and rent to pay.
My true gift, and I guess the most important gift I've gotten this holiday is simply being here with my family. When it comes down to it, my family adn friends are more important then "things". I've been having fun hanging with my BFF, meeting new friends...and doing silly things for them. TEZ: I pee'ed your name in the snow for you
I want to do a neked snow angel (because I'm fucking crazy like that) and I'm planning on going to see Churtch in the next few days. I still have to eat at my fav sushi place which just so happens to be down the street from me, and see some high school friends while here.
kinda off subject, but I got a complement from my whole family...I'm turning 38 in 10 days and everyone in my family thought I was turning like 33 or something. Anyway I'm glad that I still look so young adn have such a young heart that I can even fool my family into thinking I'm just out of my 20's.
