For some odd reason I found myself thinking about the word "cult" yesterday evening. Interesting how one word can have two radically different connotations.. one so bad and one so good.. but both oh so useful:

a. Obsessive, especially faddish, unthinking devotion to or veneration for a person, principle, or thing.
b. The object of such devotion.

6. An exclusive group of persons sharing an esoteric, usually artistic or intellectual interest.
