I realized the other day why exactly it is that I will never be truely cool. I mean I have cool moments, but generally I'm a big fucking dork. I prefer it that way, but for some reason the other day I pondered why I'd never be cool and this is what I got.

I always want to know things. I mean I always want to know why something happens.

This came to me when a girl I know, who overestimates her intelligence and underestimates all others', was talking to me the other day. I mentioned I wanted to do something and she immediately replied with, "Oh that is so lame."

I'm pretty used to this sort of thing and automatically replied with my generic statement of, "Why is it lame?" When it took her five minutes to respond in a way that managed to explain nothing while clearly labeling me as an idiot for having to ask, I decided that she was full of shit and had no explanation for me.

This element makes her cool.

Seeing as how I tend to only give people truthful answers when conversing, I suppose that I can never be cool because I will never just run with a current thought trend because it is current.

Fuck you plato. You managed to set back human thought approximately 1,000 years. I hope you went to hell.
