I work in the only 24 hr Starbucks here in Nu Jersey. Unfortunately, other than that, I spend most of my time there too.

I work graveyards = I sleep during the day = I hang out @ night on my days off.

I keep awake for a good couple of hours to do my business i.e. visit the bank, shop, buy necessities, do laundry, clean my room, lift weights ... then I sleep.



Newayz, I sure hope when my digital camcorder comes about, I could start with the documentary Ive been brainstorming for a good couple of months - A Day In The Life Of A Starbucks Barista (the title's a work in progress!) It might be just a day, or even a week but its still a doc on us baristas. This is my way in showing the world how hard it is to deal with everyday things like school or life in general and dealing with customers who are rude, senile or just plain jerks and internal politics, thinking we're just a bunch of punks.

You see, what happens is that, when people become bigshots or has reached "the top," they tend to forget where theyve come from - the "bottom of the barrel." I might get burned for doing this but somebody's got to do it eh?
