Well, the last week was just washed out from under me on a river of white wine
Now Im sitting here slightly dazed and trying to recall exactly what it was that I should have done but didnt or whatever.
I did touch the sea on a booze fuelled coach trip down to Brighton with the APE gang, that was good I always feel better for seeing the sea. We call that bit of it the English Channel but surely there is only really the one ocean, its a continuous thing encircling the globe right? the named divisions being merely a human conceit. So I touched the sea and looked up at the moon, mmmm it was primal.
After that I got caught up in the preparations for Mankos excursion to Italy which involved lots of messing about with hair and jewellery and shoes and other such delights. Im sure shes dazzling them all over there in the Tuscan sun, both literally and figuratively.
Its a bit too quiet here though without her and strange using the bed just for sleeping ah well, Ive got plenty of work I should be getting on with so I think Ill get off my arse and go do some writing or painting.
