You see what happens? You see what happens, when a guy like me runs out of smokes?
On friday night I decided to watch Taken. It is a SciFi channel mini series, awesome show. 20 hours long but worth it. I sat here and figured I was going to need some Dew and look there, I am out of smokes too. Time to drive to the store.
I have been feeling rather blah lately. I threw on a pair of my cleanest dirty pair of jeans and a random shirt. Grabbed a jacket and went out the door. My garage is not attached to the house so it is a short walk to the car. I almost got there when it happened.
2 gunshots rang out, very close. By the time the second one went off, my nose was in the dirt. I knew I wasn't hit, you can never be too safe. I didn't hear anything wlse happen so I stood up and walked to the car. I went to the store and got my smokes and Dew and drove to a burrito place.
So, I pull up about 15 minutes later at home. As I get out of the car I look at the end of the alley and see some person laying there. I got that sinking feeling in my stomach. I HATE dealing with cops. It seems no matter what is happening, they treat you like you have done something wrong. This was truly one of the mothers of all that is unholy. I knew what I was looking at. There at the opposite end of the alley that I usually leave from was the person who got shot and I now had to deal with it.
I put my shit down and got a blanket, rope and a gallon of water. I started walking over to the person and had 911 on the phone as I walked.
More of the story later.
