I love how an employer can fuck you without any remorse, consideration or lube.
My employer has bought all but one of the Budweiser distributors in the state of Illinois. I work at the one in a suburb east of Chicago. I live in a suburb west of Chicago. I kind of like the set up. It only takes me 20 minutes to get to work because everyone is headed the opposite direction.
Yesturday they told 4 drivers that their routes would be moving to the "new place" that is in the city. A couple got pissed, the other two didn't react. It was also announced that 2 of us nightshift guys would be sent there also. I started thinking about who was going to get sent and decided to ask instead. Noone was really talking to me about it, this made me rather suspicious. I was talking to a supervisor and he told me that everyone was being asked if, everyone said no then they would just pick two.
I am the newest addition to the night shift. I have the least seniority. I also am 98% sure that everyone is going to say no.
This is bothersome because, I wanted to move closer to work. The new place is in the middle of an industrial area in southeast Chicago and I don't think I really want to live over there. It kind of looks like the area where Tyler's house is in Fight Club.
SO yeah I am kind of pissed. Mostly because the people in charge of asking people to go still havent mentioned it to me. Partially because I know the reason they didn't ask me is because they know I have no choice.
I have to find a trump card to play on them.

tell them that you know everything, you have copies of all the documents and computer files, and you will not hesitate to release them to the media if they try and move you....even if they're not hiding anything they'll assume someone more important than them is.....
