i'm really glad that a teacher had sucha positive effect on you. but, i have to admit, i think that it's doubtful that the marcus's of my career will change in a similar manner. i don't think that everybody eventually learns their lesson. if they did, the world would be a much better place. i think that he'll go on being a jerk. he'll probably never see how his actions hurt others. he'll probably never be thankful for the things he DOES have. his mom will probably never realize how wrong she was in this argument. i'm never going back to teaching high school because i'm not benevolent enough. i don't have the patience to take all this shit for just a little pay. i'm gonna distance myself from the whole situation before i become a bitter bitter prematurely old person.
