The end of August is here, this has been the fastest month in the history of the 485 months I've been alive. I leave for my trip to the UK in less than two weeks, I have 10 days to finish drawing, line out and paint a 22x28 watercolor for the Indian Summer art show we're having at 111 Minna on Sept. 10, but it's a usual thing to crunch at the end. That's when the magic happens.

I'm a lucky boy. Sometimes we find what we say we aren't looking for, in the last place we expect to find it -right in front of us.

For anyone in Northern California, take some time in the next month, while the weather is great, to go sit on a beach and appreciate what a beautiful place we live in. Its even better to go with someone who makes you smile.
