After bidding this site adieu -like so many, I'm back on here again. The truth is that I've met some very cool people because of SG -directly or indirectly, and that for the most part I have to honestly say it's cool.
I've spent the past two months or so getting my own life back together, as a solo act. The rest of the band is recording their own stuff in San Diego -it's a totally different direction, and I didn't like the way the music was going; the sound had changed and there were too many smoke machines, lasers and mirrors in the new live act. I'm into the same thing I've always been into. No hard feelings at all, and I only wish them the best on their new album.
That being said, I've been working on stuff with a few people here and there, and one really has something I'd like to hear more of.... We shall see. :-) The future looks bright my friends, and the best we can do for ourselves is to have a life well lived. You only get one of these!
There's going to be a HUGE art show on Sept. 10 at 111 Minna -the boys from my shop and about 30 total tattooers, live music and drinks. Be there!!! I'll be spending the rest of this month painting my ass off, then off to the UK in September with my son. Busy as, bru.
