Went to an odd retro-90s club last night. Didn't get the mix of people and music. The Strokes, Depeche Mode, Blur, Janes Addiction. Dunno why it felt so odd. Cuz I remember dancing to the late 80s & early 90s stuff the first time around, and I cant understand a pack of 20 yr olds being nostalgic for the music when when they were 8.
But hey, I guess I like Abba and Boney M for the same reasons.
Anyway, couldn't cope with my geezerishness being made so abundandtly apparent last night,so I made myself feel better with gin&tonics.
This morning I realized that that wasn't a long term solution. At least I didn't actually need the bucket this morning... This afternoon's diet of advil, grease and laziness has gone over much better.
