So maybe it's a New Year's resolution. Or not. I just kind of thought about it today. I would like to blog more. Maybe on here or on Tumblr. Perhaps blogging will help me start doing more of my creative writing that I used to do all the time.
My friend and I were actually trying to make a book out of our short stories. I think the title was going to be "Tales from the Crapper" but then we saw there was a Troma movie of that title, so we went with "Oddities of the Brain."
This same friend, who I introduced My Little Pony to (and who game me shit for watching it), is now a big fan, just like me. I might say he's a bigger fan now. We both like the show and the community with it. Some damn fine people. Although some of them make some art that shouldn't be made. Watch "A Brony Tale" on Netflix, you'll see why so many people like it. I tell you that to tell you this, He has been making some good connections with some pretty good people and is even writing and acting in a fan made film. He hasn't told me too much on it, but he is trying his hardest to get me in on a spin off TV show. Well, technically I am on it as at least a writer. that is mostly why I would like to get back to my writing. I really hope this all goes swimmingly so we can actually do what we were meant to do. Entertain.
We have a different king of humor. I think some people just overlook it. Or they don't get it. We have a mixture of lots of types of comedy. Having watched Monty Python, Kids in the Hall, early SNL, Ren and Stimpy, among many others, our humor is just a blend of all. We love comedy from dark humor to slapstick.
I may post some of my old stories on here if I can find them. Perhaps even some new ones, if I get the inspiration.
