I love my microkorg..I just wish I could use it to its full potential. My stupid audio interface still hasn't arrived which sucks because I can't record anything without it. I should probably buy some editing software too. I was thinking of Cubase SE. I've heard good things about it, it's upgradable and reasonably inexpensive.
Everybody should check out a band called Buried Inside. Good stuff. They remind me somewhat of bands like Isis but with more screamy vocals..excellent album. It's called Chronoclast. At first glance the CD looks like one from a Screamo band but I assure you it's not. No emo pussiness present, plus the album is on Relapse.
Umm other than that I recieved some new movies in the mail today. Jodowrosky's El Topo and August Underground's Mordum. El Topo is a western but a Jodowrosky western so it should be really bizzare and awesome at the same time. Mordum is from what I gather a fake snuff film. According to my brother it is incredibly icky and extremely fucked up. This is from a guy who loves zombie films and gory films in general. I'll post a review of it after I watch it.
