If you havn't heard them allready, check out a band called Katatonia. In my opinion all their albums are awesome. Their first few albums are black metal but not crappily produced black metal (aka TRUE BLACK METAL!!!). If that style is not your cup of tea check out any of their albums starting with Discouraged Ones up until their latest Viva Emptiness..I have never read a bad review about these guys..they rock..
