If you can believe it, I'm even hairy than the "new" profile pic (which was taken about 3 years ago.) Normally clean shaven, laziness has overtaken me and the beard and hair have been left to run free. I just bought a new scanner, so I'll try and get a pic and scan it in sometime.
The goddamn CD I'm listening to keeps skipping because I left it out of the case in my car and now it's scratched to hell.
I got three CDs for my birthday, so I guess it balances out.
Hm. I'm beginning to think it's not all the CDs fault. Maybe some memory issues. I do have Adobe Illustrator, Photshop, InDesign, and Image ready all open, along with Word and this site. Damn I love school.
So, in anycase, a lame new update is better than the same old one, I guess.
So, I've been without a girl for about a year now and it's time to put an end to that. Part of it was school and that I'm still friends with my last girlfriend. No, nothing was "going on", she just still really cared for me and since we share a apartment (yes, separate rooms, no nothing has gone on, you bastards... we moved in after we stopped going out), I thought it best to lay low so to speak. Not to put the pun out there.
La, la, anyway, the problem now is, school. Girls at school have, so far, fallen into three catagories. 1) normal school girls, ranging in age from 18-24. None of which want to date a guy my age, with my "Income", no matter how much "Confidence" I have. 2) Older girls, 26ish +, who are going back to school to pick up the peices of their shattered life... either from drugs, break-ups, or whatever... none of which want to date me because they still want to date 18 year old hipsters because that was the last time they were happy dating. 3) Older women who are married, were married, or whatever, looking to remodel their career, with no time for men. I'm leaving out girls that like girls; they aren't going out with me no matter what sub-catagory I put them in.
I'm not complaining so much as expressing some frustration that my otherwise kick-ass perfect life is missing that special someone to lord it over. I'm also a little annoyed at myself for not asking more women out (socially shy) and that I kinda fall in between the generation gap. Too old to be considered cool (even though I listen to new music, watch movies, read comics, and do all the dumb things 18 year old boys do... except I'm more responsible about it) and I'm not quite old enough or established enough (read "rich") to be that sauve guy the hot 40 year olds love. And there are hot 40 year olds, despite what you might be thinking.
I didn't really have a plan for wrapping this up. If you pray, ask God to get me a woman... he's not my pimp, but he could at least nudge something my way. Otherwise, keep your fingers-crossed that at some point in the coming weeks, some cute little thing will see past my homeless beard and asymetrical "good looks" to the funny, smart, cool guy I am. Oh, and big wang. Of course I have a big wang...
