So I'm sitting here with my laptop propped atop a box! I finally, finally got my last load of boxes over to my new apartment today!

I cannot, cannot believe how much stuff I amassed within the last two years at my old apartment! Craziness! I always thought I was good at throwing stuff away and giving things back to Goodwill, but I guess not as good as I thought! I was even called a *packrat* today, which, I assure you, I am NOT a packrat.

When I moved from New York, I fit all of my stuff and my ex's stuff in my Honda Accord with a mini U-haul behind it, and drove across the country in four days. And! Before that, when I moved from London to New York, I arrived bundled up at JFK with only two suitcases!

Maybe I am just gathering more things as I grow older. hmmmmm.

Anyhow, I'm very excited about my new place. It's green and leafy. Also, I have my very own bathroom! *YAY* and underground parking, and a dishwasher even! So I'm feeling content, even surrounded by boxes, and with my muscles aching. I'm sure I will sleep well!
