I have two new jobs ! crazy. So I have been working like a busy busy bee.
Hopefully I will be able to pay off all my parking tickets now.

I'll throw my hat in the ring with a classic (that you have probably already read, but just in case): The World According to Garp by Irving. One of my all-time faves is Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut. And I will second Geek Love, though some (of the pansies) in our book club couldn't handle the more disturbing parts of it.
Uh... yeah, ok, I'll go ahead and leave my admission that I am in a book club. I'm not embarrassed. Really.
