New computer. Well, old computer that was close to SOTA two years ago, served me well for a year and a half, and then went into storage because of a bad CPU. Replaced the CPU, upgraded to a GeForce 9600, replaced the RAM. The system I'd been using in the interim was pretty bad--in order to raid, I had to have all my settings bottomed out, and even then I'd still drop to 1-2 fps during most fights (Hyjal was particularly nightmarish).
Now? I roll into Shat with all settings maxed, and hold steady at 20 fps. Not exactly braggable, but fuck is it nice. On the old system, I couldn't see the main dome in Shat if I were flying over Lower City. Now, I can see into Nagrand.
