I just started smoking ~4 months ago, at 29 years of age.

messy breakup and needed to do something bad for me. Smoking fit the bill pretty good.

Anyway, I'm not quite sure how long it takes to get truly addicted, but I figure it's time to quit. We'll see how it goes. Probably easier than giving up the girl has been...
