My work is published now, but still no check. On the plus side though, my "boss" didn't put me on the schedule this week, so after my class today I have a five day weekend. If only every week ended this quickly.

Actually come to think of it I have the next six days off...

School was fun, but not nearly as cool as I thought it would be. But it has been a really great day. I found out the publisher of the magazine I just submitted illustrations for loved them (and they were pretty bad) but more importantly, he also publishes Surfer and Skateboarder.

My last college class starts tomorrow. I love the first day of school, I still get stoked everytime a semester starts... I think I'm going to keep taking classes forever just so I'll always have first days.

I guess I didn't quit my job yesterday? -because they called me in today... WTF? Whatever I wasn't doing anything today anyway and it was an easy 40 bones.

I also found out I'm definately getting some illustrations published. Won't be my first published art, but it will be the widest circulation.

I stayed super late last night doing some freelance illustration work for a student travel magazine. Then today I got paid for my last month at Tani, I managed to make more in one day with my bad illustrations than I did in a month working retail. Perhaps my views of what constitutes work are a little skewed.

Finally home, that was a long and interesting week. Now I'm stoked just to see alll my friends again...

The last leg of my little trip starts tomorrow. I'll have gone from one coast to the other, driven over 1500 miles, stayed in five cities and four states in just under two weeks.

I'm stoked to get back right in time for the next event, then my girl comes home. Its been a wild month.

Sorry Guys, stoked myself out too much on surfing and took off right after my class ended. Everyone feel free to punch me for not showing up. Next one on the 23rd I will definately be at. Anyway, my road trip continues, in LA now, then home for a day, then boring grandparent trip, then home just in time for Rock Bottom...

All right, I'm sticking around till Sunday so I can make the party and see Straybullit's skate collection, so if anyone feels like giving me a ride that would be great. (I don't live too far) :arrr

I have my tent ready, my sleeping bag, some books I haven't read yet, some cash I set aside for food. All I need to do is get off work on Saturday and I'm off to SD to buy a new board and spend a week camping on the beach and surfing 2am breaks. I'm stoked...

I got the always tragic $200 cell phone bill today and I'm faced with the decision:

a) Go surfing this weekend and let my phone get turned off.

b) Work the extra days and be able to turn it back on.

c) There really isn't much of a desicion, sunburns here I come

(But I will stick around for Saturday night)
