behind this veil
of hate
and fear
and despair, but it's there.

Why is it that, educational programs,
inspirational programs
and sponsorship programs
have to pay,
for their right to be heard,
but the news
political documentaries
and tabloid tv
all get paid for by
you and me?


Do they still flash the "Terror Alert Level" anymore?
If they do, is that subliminal?

Look beyond the veil,
look beyond the fnords
if, that is, you want more,
it's there.

Oh, it's there alright,
hope
and peace
and love,
future
and unity
and strength,
yesterday,
and today,
and tomorrow.

It's all there
behind the veil
waiting
hoping
calling.
