Last week wysh and I went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The airport ended up being absolutely terrible, but I didn't know that yet...



I learned to never fly Spirit again. There was a passport snafu and wysh ended up in Miami. It's a long story and one I'll let wysh share.

Luckily, wysh was able to make it the Mexico the same day.





The next day we visited a Mayan ruin in Coba







We biked



We hiked the 2nd tallest Mayan temple



I'm scared of heights so the trip to the top was a scary one







I scraped my leg



We visited a Mayan village



Hiked through the jungle









Ziplined



Rappelled into a cenote





And were blessed by a shaman



The next day we went Xelha, which is a natural water park. We cliff dove, snorkeled, swam in an underwater cave, ate & drank











Saw lots of animals















The next day we snorkeled to a reef and swam among sea turtles. Afterward we hiked to a cenote and swam







The last day we visited the beach by our hotel



And went to a little hidden away bar where when we ordered a a beer they brought tapas style food out and with each beer came more food. They also had dancers and a children's playground.





And the last night we went out with the folks from our trip



Including the two best tours guides ever





Since being back I have just been super busy with work and laundry.
