Work kicked my ass. I was there until 7, but needed to get home for movie night.

Everybody has such high expectations and I've been gone for 7 months. I've been learning and doing completely different things for 7 months. It's going to take time and I'll get there but it's a lot of pressure. It also didn't help that my new laptop was not set-up correctly, so I spent my day begging for access and mapping printers and drives and other basic crap and it's still not 100%.

Here's hoping that things calm down over the week. Next week is NYC. Two weeks later my boss goes out on maternity leave...so the chaos is far from over.
