Work has been incredibly stressful lately. I'm crazy busy, which I can handle, but there has also been a lot of drama, which I'm not so good at handling. I took the last two days off just to get my head straight. I feel much better, but I know I'll pay for it tomorrow because my division manager is the way he is. Oh well, it was worth it. I'll get everything done and get caught up quickly...it's what I do. Also, my direct supervisor understands what I'm going through and why I needed the time, so in the end I'll be okay.

My head was so messed up that I was making stupid mistakes and everything was taking me way longer than usual, so my two days off was best for the company as well. Too bad some people can't see that.

Also, the VP of my department was let go today...YAY!!!!! I hope the new guy is a much better leader...he can't be worse. Plus, I totally trust and respect the people who chose the new guy. Even if I don't get the new job in the other department I definitely see things starting to change for the better.

Speaking of the other department...I have my interview with the division manager on Friday...I hope I don't bomb. I'm going to do a cram session tomorrow night so that I have the terminology down just in case. There would be a lot to learn in the new job, but I think the pay off would be great, plus I love learning new things. One thing I've never had a problem with is learning.

Anyway, this has been another boring blog...sorry, but it's the only place I can vent and know that my co-workers aren't reading it...hehe.
