I'm going to Chicago for the first time ever next month 
I'm pretty excited about the trip, not so much about the cold, cold weather. I'm definitely a Florida/tropical girl. I get a chill when it's in the seveties here
I don't really have the proper cold weather attire so my boss is going to let me going over to her house and raid her closet for a coat. She has a few because she travels quite a bit, plus she dresses well and I love her style, so it won't be an old lady coat.
So, anyway I'll be in Chicago from Tuesday 12/11 before noon until Saturday 12/15 in the afternoon. I'm going with my guy and he has to work on Wednesday, including Wednesday night, and Thursday. If anyone is willing and able to entertain me for a bit I'd love to meet up with you guys. Also, if you live up that way have have suggestions on things we should do/see/not miss please let know.
I hope it snows while we are there...even though I don't do well with cold. I've only ever seen North Florida snow, which is very light, barely coats the ground and melt by 10 am.
This weekend I get to go shopping for some good gloves and a cute winter cap
On a side note---I recently purchased a new mattress. It is the best thing ever. Unfortunately, I have been late getting up everyday since we got it.
