I got to be a typical girl today....I spent the day shopping...and not just shopping, but shopping for girly clothes.
I haven't done that in a quite a while. It was fun, even though the first 4 hours were totally unproductive for me. The first place we went Josh found an awesome velvet blazer and a really nice shirt. Then in the next bah-gillion stores I found absolutely nothing. The places that had things I liked didn't have my size but mostly I was just disappointed in the selection. Finally, after four hours of looking, we stopped by Bebe. I almost walked out without looking since the entire front half of the store was comprised of $100+ sweatsuits. I'm glad I stayed and made my way to the rear of the shop. I found so many awesome things, too many of which were actually in my size...appearantly it was the only place that hadn't had a run on size 4 before I got there. I actually left with two skirts (one of which is probably the shortest skirt I have ever owned), an awesome sweater, and a black 60's style mod shift dress that shows off my entire back.
Even better than finding clothes that I liked, they were all on the best sale ever. The price on the tags totaled $500.00, but I only paid $120.00. Of course $120 is way more than I normally spend, but I did just get my tax refund and figured I needed a pick me up after the week from heel at work.
I also found out that wide headbands look really cute on me. I got a few today, but my favorite has little skull and crossbones all over it. Now that I have discovered headbands I think I can survive the whole letting my hair grow out thing that I am trying.
