I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Mine went well.

JW and I spent yesterday in the car. We got into the car at 6am and drove to visit my little brother at the prison. At 2:30 we got back in the car and drove until 9:30ish at which time I took my muscle relaxers and passed out.

Speaking of my brother...he gets out next month on January 20th...I can hardly believe it. He's been in since he was 17...that was 8 years ago. I seriously miss that kid.

Today work was pure hell. I was all alone and had almost 400 e-mails (real e-mails, not spam) I had to go through) and a bunch of complicated stuff that seemed to have been purposefully left for me to handle. I didn't get to take a lunch or even take a piss break all day. Oh well, I made a solid dent in the piles and piles of work today and I will keep doing what I can as fast as I can and I'm sure most things will be okay. This was definitely one of those days that I had to keep reminding myself how much I like my job in order to keep from screaming.
