Guess what I'm getting for Christmas...a $2400 splint for my TMJ/TMD...yay 
This week I have been in an inordinate amount of pain due to my neck and jaw pain. I went to the oral surgeon today and have to get a special type of MRI on my jaw next Friday and then the splint. I am so glad that I have good insurance. My part of the cost is fucking expensive as it is...there is no way I could afford all of this if my insurance didn't cover TMJ....I know, because my last insurance didn't and that's why I'm in such bad shape now
