Two things I had reconfirmed today:
1) People are confusing. People go out of their way to make promises they cannot keep and that you did not ask for, but are amazed when you call them on it.
2) Big companies just don't care about their customers. They think that communication with their customers is a waste of time, but that is what loses business for them. They hire mindless customer service workers who have no ability to think or reason and don't know what to say if you don't respond just like their little handbook says that you are going to.
My neck still hurts and I am in a bad mood, but I will fake a smile and carry on as usual anyway.
