The eternity that is today is ever so slowing passing by.
It is dark and raining outside. It has been like this all day. The lack of sunlight has me physically depressed and the fluorescent lights only seem to make it worse.
I am sitting pushed back in my chair with nothing to do. Days like this are killing me. Why can't one just get paid a salary for accomplishing a job instead of based on the number of hours you are present at a particular location. I would be more than willing to stay over when needed if only I could leave and take care of my personal stuff when I'm not.
It's not like I don't look around for more to dothere's just nothing right now. Next week we will probably be slammedmy boss micromanages everything and yet she is a terrible planner so everything that is needed is needed yesterday.
At my last job I never had time to breath and at this one I have way too free time. I would ♥ something in-between.
So tonight after work Im off to Pensacola to see the little brothers band play tomorrow night. I am sure proud of that kid. I just wish he didnt live so far away sometimes.
This will be a whirlwind weekend. Tonight driving for 7 hours, tomorrow see the little brothers band, Sunday driving for another 7 hours.
