Last night I cleaned my house, wrapped most of the presents, had soup and sandwiches for dinner, ate homemade Christmas cookies and watched "It's a Wonderful Life". I finally feel like it's the holiday season.

I have one more gift to get for my sister and her husband and then finish wrapping presents tonight. Tomorrow I leave for Pensacola to see my family for Christmas for the first time in many, many years.

My cats and JW are making the trip with me. My vet gave me valium for the kitties to make the trip less stressful for them. My little brother is very excited that we are bringing themhe wants a cat, but my parents won't let him get one. They have a 10 year old miniature daschund and they feel that she is enough pets for now.

I'm still a bit tired, but at least I'm not falling asleep at my desk today. There is absolutely nothing going on at work so if I was as tired as yesterday Id probably just pass out. On days like this I wish I could just go homeI have things I could be doing there. I can't stand being idle and bored.

Someone in my office left a note on my desk that said "Always remember...Individuality is a beautiful thing!!!"

It made me smile, especially in light of the recent hair issue. I'm not the only one who thought my boss was being ridiculous
