I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday.
My Thanksgiving was a little stressful, as I had to go to the boys parents house. The first thing that was said to us when we walked in the door wasIm glad you guys decided to finally show up. Its was only 2:30 and we didnt eat until 5 or so, plus it was a 2 hour drive to their place. Fortunately, by the end of the night tensions werent quite so high. My boy also seems to have a massive number of children and dogs in his family, so things werent ever what you call calm.
So, my dad called me on Wednesday night to tell me that my sister is having her baby one way or another on Tuesday. He said that she has been going to weekly doctor appointments and she is just huge and miserable. Her doctor said that he will induce on Tuesday and if that doesnt work then they will do a C-section. Apparently the baby is so big that arent sure shell be able to delivery him normally. Otherwise, my sister and baby are healthy and doing well.
I want to go up to Pensacola and see my sister and my new/first nephew next week, but the trip is 8 hours and I hate driving. I looked into flying, but it costs $300.00 and I think that is just too much. Ill probably end up driving up there anywayI just hope that I dont fall asleep at the wheel.
The boy and I are probably going to see Tegan and Sara at the Social tonight. Is anyone else going to be there???
I leave you a picture of my wonderful little boys...
Just don't ask...Paine's journal reminded me of this...so here it goes...
I've got a kid
His name is Scott
He's goin' blind
And his blood just will not clot
The doctors line in rows
To stick tubes up Scotty's nose
There is the field
Where Scotty used to play
Until Ortho Orange Number 42
Was dumped in it one day
I think it's so funny
I laugh until I cry
Just me and God
Watchin' Scotty die
Just me and God
Watchin' Scotty die
The chemical plant across the street
Leaves off steam that colours our white sheets
It's been happening for years
Now I'm crying rainbow tears
One day my dog went out to play
Instead of grey he came back coloured yellow
The chemical men said stay mellow
It happens all the time
Now Scotty's skin is lime
I think it's so funny
I laugh until I cry
Just me and God
Watchin' Scotty die
Just me and God
Watchin' Scotty die

Once I get it off the camera, and cut down shorter, I'll email you a video I took today of a dolphin jumping out of the water Sea World style.
PS -- Thanks for the birthday message. :=)
