Today i put in motion the events that will lead to me going back to school. I will be going to the the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS PAN AMAERICA.. It is there where i will be majoring on psychology and minoring in sociology. I'm not sure if i'll finish school with this round of attendence thats coming up. The future isn't looking to bright for any carreer even moreso anything to do with education ESPECIALLY here in texas.
Now i admit i wasnt the easiest student to get along with in school, especially the later years of highschool, but i see kids now and they have no direction and most times they are content with the ignorance in their life. its a shitty trend thats only getting stronger. I can see the holes in the education system and i want to make it all better for future generations. I've substituted for kids today and i find that their education is not really an education that will do them any good in the "real world" the current generation is a generation of TEST TAKERS not DESICION MAKERS. Like i said its a disturbing trend. The only solution i see is student advocacy. so while i have no particular direction in life i've decided that no matter what, and where i end up. I will fight for a better education system in the state of Texas., and maybe i'll have an effect on national education programs . One can hope. And i do hope. I am on a quest.
