**Happy Dance!!** Hubby is home! His Dad's surgery went pretty well. there is still some brain swelling and residual memory and physical issues caused by the swelling. It is a bit like he had a stroke... The Doctor says that all of that should decrease as the swelling goes down. He looks a bit like frankenstein across his head as there is one heck of an incision.
So, anyway, my Hubby has returned and is quite happy to be out of the heat of Texas. Us Alaskans tend to melt down there! tongue I am just glad to have him back. You would figure that after 15+ years, I would enjoy time alone whatever

On a grumpier note though.... Computers can SUCK! I got to spend all day yesterday futzing with my computer, trying to get my internet connection to improve (my router is SLOW on wireless..fast on direct) and then I got to try and get my Firefox to work again...*grumble*
Well, I got Firefox fixed, but the connection is still creakily decrept. I did manage to get the network secured, finally. but I really wish I know why the wireless is so slow! A week ago, it was moving at a much higher speed. I haven't brought in any new electronics that might interfere with the router....*grumble*
Oh well..... surreal surreal
ta2dmom:
All of your computer talk is like "blahblahblah" to me lol. I don't know what any of that means.
I'm glad that your husband is home. I know I'd love some alone time. Of course, that's because I'm dealing with some major crap and I just need to decompress from it lol.
Is it super cold there now? I'd be loving it!

ta2dmom:
Haha, you're right, it does sound cold to me already, but I understand the different degrees of cold depending on where you live too. I think it's funny when I tell my mom I'm cold (at about 50) and she says "Yeah, well the wind chill is 35 below here" . And I remember that cold all too well from when I lived there.
