Well, that's it I suppose.... I am slipping into the prudish Mom role...*sigh* 
I NEVER thought I'd be there. My daughter turned ten last month and has been edging into puberty for the past six months...argh! No wonder my Mom wanted to give me to the gypsies until I was in my twenties!! She's driving me insane! 
She has curves in all the right places, has the Diva Queen role down pat, and is talking boys already...she even has a "boyfriend"! Shoot me now.... 
The whole prudish thing is that I have a friend staying here for a while between house-sitting jobs, and he has a female friend (who is supposedly not his girlfriend....who knows....) who has been staying here in the evenings a lot. I like her, but I find that the Mom in me is quite uncomfortable when she ends up staying the night. I have fielded a few questions from my 14 yr old son, and I really don't want to be giving my daughter ideas
... If she wants to do the whole casual sex thing, she can do it when she is OUT of the house and over 18.... Soooo... I have been making his friend spend the night on the couch. I know, I know, they are probably doing nothing but sleeping, and the dirty thoughts are just in my head.... but really....
My Mom is almost a quaker in her sexual morals. I am sure that she would be horrified if she knew the types of things I like
I don't want to seem like her, but there is that fine line to balance on. I want my kids to make sane choices in today's world. Am I nuts..or what....
