Ohh! I got sent a preview of a new show hitting Showtime on April 1st! The Tudors which stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers is an awesome look at the times and trials of Henry the VIII. Incredible costumes which are actually somewhat correct for the time...except the insistence of having the women's hair exposed...major no-no there...Oh well, can't have everything 
It's just all eye candy for me since I ADORE Tudor England 
Boy, talk about sewing ideas!!! It looks like it will be a fun show...lots of sex and great scenery (of all kinds) just don't mind the liberties they take with history...there are a few minor gripe points in the first episode alone...

Anyway, no news on the vehicle mess except that it is my rings and pistons...which means I need a new engine...*sigh* Thanks for the good comments though...they really do boost the spirits....

And don't get me started on the historical cock-ups in the Clive Owen version of King Arthur. What have the Romans ever done for us? Well certainly not a king called Arthur...check out the older Merlin film for a proper version (bonus feature is Helen Mirren being very evil....wow!)
Sorry to hear about the van. At least my very expensive service and new tyre got done just in time...I'd struggle without wheels.
