a writing intensive class that consists of three movie reviews online? what the... hah.. wow.
i feel like i'm kinda slacking this semester, i'm only taking 13 credits [usually i have 16-17, and i just did 12 credits in an 8week summercourse.. that was fun]. the classes that will take the most effort are animation/director and computerized commercial design. other than that, i'm taking drawing V + yoga [ohmmmm...] yeah.. slacking off.
it's probably alright that the jlabs thing isn't really working, as one of the instructors here really wants to find me an internship somewhere that fits me better. i'm not entirely sure what that means.. but.. hm. i hate trying to apply for those sorts of things. so if she wants to hook me up with somewhere else, okidokie..

I'm in paper writing hell. No sign of let up. I have a gig I'm going to on Tuesday (Pretty Girls Make Graves - hot rock goth chicks punking it up on stage - yeah), a family dinner on Friday, and a piss up to end all piss ups on Saturday, which almost certainly rules out working on Sunday. I'm screwed.
You know what's cool? I just remembered a conversation I had with Robert Smith (The Cure) back in the day. I was lurking groupie-like in the green room and said something like, "You know what would be cool? Blending gothic like classical music into electronic stuff." My gf then pitched in with, "Yeah, have you read any Mervyn Peake?" That was about the time of 17 Seconds and before Faith.
