I've never really posted much of anything here, but I'm tired of seeing my journal looking so lame.
Here's a bit about me:
I'm an undergraduate at a small university in Virginia persuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and (at minimum) a minor in Philosophy. I'm currently a junior.
I also work at the IT Services shop at my university: fixin' the compu-tarrs and the network for faculty, staff, and students.
Yeah.
Recently I'm fairly interested in postmodernism. I'm not big on any isms myself, but postmodernism struck a chord with me. I've been thinking about how (and if) it applies to certain ideas (such as wealth online, what a postmodern business model might be like, and how the internet changes certain textual relations). I did quite a bit of reading about it this past fall for a course that I took on the subject, and I'm interested in learning more. Chat me up if you've got anything to say on the subject (or even if you don't).
In other news: I had the opportunity to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show, live, this past Friday for the first time. A friend and I went, and it was definitely entertaining. The place the puts on the show has one every month, apparently. Fun stuff.
