so i went and saw phantom of the oprea last nite. it is very long and reduntant. i imagine it would be better as an opera than as a movie, but the most memerable thing about it was how badly my ass hurt when it was over. that fucker was three hours long.
in other news, headless/heartless is doing a show on friday at sherri's cocktail lounge in manteca. its free and should be pretty fun. its small. i like small venues with floor level stages. i get to interact with the crowd better. last time we were on a real stage, i ended up jumping off and dancing around in the pit for a song. its just more fun that way. so the band is practicing every day this week. we're having a bitch of a time working through this one older song of ours. one we did with a different drummer. funny thing is that our new drummer isn't having a problem with it, the guitarist is and he wrote the damn thing. i imagine this subject is boring you. i would move on, but i have nothing else much to talk about so i will stop.
