as i'm typing this, three fingers and a tumb are numb on my right hand. i've seen two doctors so far and both are saying it's probably carpal tunnel syndrom. one thinks i might have arthritis in my right wrist that is triggering the carpal tunnel. if that's true, then they'll just treat it with steroids. i'm kind of hoping that is the solution. otherwise it's surgery. if i have to have surgery, i won't be able to use my hand from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on how the procedure goes. that would be bad. i work at a computer all day, so i'd have to go out on disability plus, i wouldn't be ble to play my bass. needless to say, i'm rather bumbed about the situation.
on a lighter note, for some reason, i decided to cook my wife dinner last night. she loves to cook and does it all the time. i always feel guilty for not cooking, though i do the dishes most of the time. anyway, i got some hamberger out and went online to search for hamberger recipes. i didn't just want to make the typical hamberger helper. i came accross an enchelada casarole dish so i decided to try to make it. it came out great. i'm not that great of a cook, but i sure can follow directions. a couple of friends came over, which was perfect because the dish served eight. eveyone really liked it. then our friend who used to be a bartender made us some margaritas that tasted like raspberry sherbert. it tasted like candy, so i switched to beer. the lady's got pretty fucked up. it was a good evening.

I liked that you didn't give me the same ordinary advice for stress reduction that most ppl give. Unfprtunately its getting reeeally cold here in chicago already and laying in a feild would be really difficult because Id be concentrating on how cold it was. I feel like this is unusually cold weather for oct here, so maybe it'll warm up for a few days. And in the meanwhile ... Illl look for that feild.
