k, so i'm getting used to the new site. change isn't my favorite thing in the world, but i can adapt.

a friend from my high skewl years came back to town on saturday. i haven't seen him in five years. we sat in my backyard torching cigs and reminising. (i know i spelled that one wrong but ya'll get the idea) i picked up this movie we used to watch all the time called cemetary man. it was just released on dvd on tuesday. it is one of my favorite three zombie movies. (night of the living dead is my fave and cemetary man is tied with dead alive for second) we might watch it tonight. he was extremely amazed at how much this little town has changed. when he left the most corporate thing here was the one mcdonald's. now there are two starbucks, jack in the box, carlse jr. , arby's, walgreens and all kinds of other crap we never wanted in our town. and it is our town. we own it because a cop gave it to us when we were teens. well, we had to beat it out of him but after cutting off seven of his fingers he succeeded (again spelled wrong) and we got the deed to ripon california. j/k.

hey carls jr. has good food, now that i'm on the east coast i have to go to Hardees(same company, dif name) to get that stuff, and their menu is as small as In & Out only it's not as good by a long shot, Burger King is actually better than Hardees. i miss CA eateries, like In & Out, Del Taco and El Pollo Loco, i haven't found anything that is even similar to those yet.
