i went to my first staff party last nite. it was a going away party for one of the associates who is moving to san diego. i was one of two managment peeps there. technically we could get in trouble for being there cuz we aren't supposed to hang with the pee-ons. oh well, it was fun. so the first thing that happens when i get there is a guy asks me how big my balls are. not cuz he's into me, but because he wants to know if i would drink a yard of beer. i'm pretty good at holdin my drinks and this yard was just bud light. i typically drink ales, stouts and liquer, so the yard was no problem. the kid who was heart set on my drinkin' the thing was only twenty-one and barely at that. kids are so cute at that age. everythings a contest and the contests are usually pissing ones. so, i consumed the yard in less than twenty minutes, did not puke, fall over or any of the like. they took my picture as the drinking champ. the highlight of my life for sure... not. i did enjoy myself and that is the important part. i look forward to many poker games over there and many more fond memories.

on another note, i am moving. yep, one whole mile south. i live with my 'rents and they have decided to buy this property with two dwellings on it. i will be renting one. it is on half an acre and is slightly closer to my job. it proves to be a good move all around. a bunch more privacy for me. the only problem i forsee is that i might be wanting to move elsewhere eventually and the 'rents want me to commit to living there for at least five to ten years. at six hundred a month, i think i can manage. i'm excited and anxious, but when am i not anxious?
