What an annoying week it has been. Wednesday, while bending over to spit in a trash bin, I slammed my eye into a nice metal rod jolting out of the wall. Following that I had to see a doctor. I was scared shitless because I could see almost nothing out of my injured left eye. They told me it was traumatized and that it would be better the next day. For about 18 hours I had to wear a patch.
The next day I could see a little better, but my head started to kill me. I had a constant headache for the past 5 days. The doctor says because of two things, under my eye was bruised and probably causing a headache and my eye drops were messing with my allergies.
He can't prescribe me pain killers either, all I can take is tylenol. And Tylenol didn't do squat for over an hour.
So I missed pretty much my whole week of work. I hope it's all being covered by Workers' Comp. because I can't afford to miss a week.
